The Adega Coop. Borba, has the advantage to have a diversify universe of vines and grape varieties among their associates.

The Adega Coop. Borba, has constantly invested in the supervision and counselling the associates through a programme that totally controls the quality since the vines till the bottle wine. Therefore, at the vines level, we have a internal system SIG ( Geographical Information System), allowing the constant update of the winegrower record , knowing each vine parcel associating it with the most various information's: name of the associate, type of soils, year of crop, grape varieties, etc.

Improvements were also made in the conducting conditions of the vines, the last years efforts concentrated mainly in the canopy management, in adapting the vines to more mechanical techniques, such as mechanical harvesting, phytosanitary treatments, introducing the watering and in the pruning.
