The Adega Coop. de Borba participated in the seventh edition of the “Essência do Vinho” in OPorto city. The event took place between the 4th and 7th of March in the “Palácio da Bolsa” and had 18.000 visitors this year.

During the event new wines were presented to the public, like the Monovarietals “Senses” 2008, the new 2009 white wines of “Adega deBorba” and “Convento da Vila” and the new vintages Montes Claros Reserva, Red 2007 and White 2008.

During Saturday afternoon, the Sommelier Manuel Moreira selected the wine Montes Claros Garrafeira 2005 to integrate one of the tastings entitled “Talking about wine”, in which approached the subject: The importance of the temperature and the glass. The tasting was held in the Ogival Room of Viniportugal.
