News - Adega Coop. de Borba - The internationalization of a Portuguese wine brand
Following a strategy of internationalization and expansion of its brands,
the Adega of Borba participated in the international wine fair PROWEIN
in Dusseldorf, which took place between the 21st until the 23rd of March.
During these days new wines were presented, such as the brand Senses
of the 2008 harvest, the Montes Claros Garrafeira 2005 and the new harvests
of Montes Claros Reserva Red 2007 and White 2008, the Adega de Borba
White 2009 and Convento da Vila White 2009.
In the month of March, besides its presence in Germany, the Adega of
Borba participated in the Zurich Tastings with the Wines of Alentejo
and promoted tastings with its customers in the same city, Géneve,
and Neuchâtel.
The next events will be:
- 30th of March, presentation of wines in the Toronto Wine Tasting
promoted by Viniportugal.
- In the beginning of April will, promote a small wine Tasting in the
Hotel Alvalade Luanda, followed by its participation in the Expovinis
Brazil, in S.Paulo
Currently the Adega Coop. of Borba is present in various export markets
such as Angola, Brazil, China, U.S.A., France and Luxemburg.
