In the last three years the Adega of Borba associates the quality of its wines to an unique sport event in Portugal with an international reputation. Its wine Montes Claros Reserva, for the fourth consecutive year will be the official wine of the Estoril Open, the greater Portuguese tennis event, the partnership with the Lagos Sport organization will last until 2012.

This year the event elapses from 1st to the 10th of May in the Jamor Courts and counts on with the presence of the tennis player Roger Federer, among other Portuguese and international players.

During the event the visitors will taste brands like the Montes Claros, The cork label Reserva and the Adega de Borba and will know the new Rose of 2009 harvest, and the new Montes Claros special harvest of 2008. The Adega Coop. of Borba will have two spaces: one placed in the Break Point and another one in the VIP zone, where the visitors will experience “some surprises”.

The Adega of Borba is one of the oldest wine companies of the Alentejo region, which throughout its 55 years of existence has distinguished itself for the professionalism, quality and modernity of its products, having been rewarded with an Excellency award in 2009 for its performance.
